What is this?
We did this trip last year. Read the trip report.
Niobrara and Merritt, Nebraska 2023
Contact Sue Hughes if you are interested.
These dates are tentative, depending on interest level and availability of campsites. The Rocky Mountain Canoe Club will be doing this trip the weekend before (May 25-26) and we could combine the two trips with people who are interested.
The river is spring fed. Water levels can rise and current may pick up after rainy days. Some moving water skills are required. Bring your helmet just in case some decide to go through the rapids further downstream.
